The Beaumont Society
The Beaumont Society is the largest and longest established transgender support group in the UK. It has a large support network which has been at the front of the trangender, transvestite, transexual and cross-dressing community since 1966
They believe transgender people have the right to dignity and a understand that although the internet often portrays trans people as sexual objects this is far from the case and aims to dispel the myths.
The Beaumont Society keenly promotes the better understanding of the conditions of transgender, transvestism and gender dysphoria in society, thereby creating and improving tolerance and acceptance of these conditions by a wider public.
